I would like to thank you for your warm welcome and support this half term. This applies especially to your help in supporting us enforce our uniform policy (details on our new website). Just to remind you that pupils who do not follow the uniform policy work with their Form Tutors for the day.
Every parent I have spoken to agrees that standards in uniform set the standards and tone for the whole school. Can I please ask you to support us as the weather gets colder. Pupils should wear waterproof coats when outside, hooded tops and tracksuit tops do not constitute waterproof coats and so are not allowed.
On another note we are having huge issues at the start and end of the day with car parking and the number of parents dropping off/picking up their children right at the front entrance of school or down the long drive off Lodge Road, which is causing problems for our buses. Can I please ask you to drop your child off on the road (Hassall, Lodge or Church Roads) and they can walk onto site.
