3.   Resilience. Jane’s tenure coincided with a period of remarkable macro-economic turbulence. Major supply lines into the company were also at times disrupted. Jane’s approach and eye for detail stood the business in good stead, as the processes and disciplines she had put in place proved to be resilient even in the face of unprecedented external pressures 

4.   Stakeholder Engagement. Jane’s impact was further heightened through her approach to stakeholder engagement, as she made the effort to ensure board and investor buy-in; made sure the initiatives were appropriately scrutinised by the risk and audit committees and that commitments were recorded and monitored via the ESG report.

Jane collaborated with international subsidiaries to develop a group-wide procurement strategy. She designed a global competencies matrix with HR, and delivered large-scale projects, including the tender programme for a new Source2Contract system.



We operated in a highly regulated environment where safety is paramount. Jane collaborated closely with the Health & Safety Director to ensure a safety culture that complied with HS&E directives as well as implementing internal controls such as vendor due diligence and safe contractor schemes. Jane worked alongside Finance Legal, Safety and HR teams to ensure compliance with new regulations.
